The quoted price of the boiler is the down-payment on the job and the years of running that follow. Here is what a heating-system replacement really costs, well beyond the unit on the wall.
What the sticker leaves out
Fitting is typically the largest single line on the job, often rivalling or exceeding the boiler itself — and it climbs if the work is awkward, spans more than a day, or needs a second tradesperson.
