The all-inclusive package quote is written to win the enquiry; the real cost is what you pay once travel, legal paperwork and every add-on are counted. Here is what the headline leaves out.
What the sticker leaves out
The couple's flights, transfers and accommodation for the trip sit outside the venue package, and for a longer stay or a distant resort they are often the single biggest line in the whole budget.
A local wedding planner or the resort's own coordinator is frequently charged separately from the package, and a distant venue almost always needs one to manage vendors you can't meet in person.
A ceremony abroad is not automatically a legal marriage at home. Residency-period stays, document translation, apostille or notarisation, and a separate legal ceremony are common costs — many couples budget for a home registry-office marriage as well.

Add any guest-hosting extras you intend to cover, upgrades over the basic package, any room-night minimum, imported-vendor travel, and a realistic allowance for currency and card costs.
